Sizzling Hot Flamenco for a performance from the soul of Andalucia, Spain!

Flamenco occupies a cherished place in Andalucian culture, and the city of Jerez de la Frontera is widely regarded as its birthplace and spiritual home. Considered two of Spain’s premier flamenco dancers and choreographers, Domingo Ortega and sister Inmaculada Ortega mark their return to Los Angeles with some of Andalucia’s finest flamenco musicians and singers.

An extraordinary combination of music and dance with gypsy, Jewish, Arabic, and Indian influences, ‘Cumbre Flamenca’ (Flamenco Summit) features deeply emotional dances expressing the sadness and joy of this art form. Within the repertoire for the evening, you will find the riveting Seguiriya, the graceful Alegría, the powerful Soleá and Soleá por Bulería, to the traditionally fun and light-hearted Bulería.

Flamenco has never been more popular abroad than it is today with a new generation of flamenco performers who have broadened flamenco’s appeal to an international audience. We welcome Maestro Domingo Ortega and the mesmerizing Inmaculada Ortega with featured artists direct from Andalusia for this special evening of Flamenco in the intimate space of the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre located in the heart of Hollywood with breathtaking views of our City of the Angeles!

This is a must see performance as Domingo & Inmaculada Ortega are two of the most prominent flamenco dancers of their generation.
