Casa Patas Tavern-Restaurant in Madrid

Casa Patas – Flamenco en Vivo
Boy…I’ve spent many hours eating, drinking and seeing shows here! Casa Patas is a restaurant and club that provides flamenco shows, as well as a school and home to a flamenco foundation. Located at c/ Canizares 10 and accessible by metro via Anton Martin Station, this tablao offers dinner of traditional Spanish cuisine, drinks, and flamenco in a setting that is over 130 years old. The establishment has two rooms: a taberna, or tavern-style restaurant, and a separate room in the back where flamenco shows are performed. Meals and drinks are available in both rooms.

Casa Patas is a tavern-restaurant and flamenco performance space located in the center of Madrid. It is considered an exemplar of excellence in the World of Flamenco.

This unique establishment successfully combines quality gastronomy based on superior raw materials prepared according to traditional Spanish recipes with a varied program of live Flamenco shows of the highest quality.

Improvisation is a key element of flamenco, with each artist individually interpreting the rhythm and communicating to other musicians and performers. The performance develops around “a sensual game” in which guitar, voice, and dance play with each other, resulting in an inspiring and captivating show.

Enjoy the emotional dance as you will feel like you’re part of the show. You will certainly understand what makes this dance so popular.

Flamenco is a truly Spanish art. To feel the passion and energy it transmits is an extraordinary experience. Visit a tablao (flamenco club) and experience this “universal” art, whose roots lie in the deepest of Spanish feeling.

Tablaos are clubs dedicated to Flamenco dance and song. They are the best places to see a unique flamenco performance that will captivate the audience. In flamenco, heartfelt song, accompanying guitar, rhythmic tap-dance and clapping, all come together with the dance of great artists, who often appear anonymously. You will notice how you are unconsciously infected by the emotion and feeling that this musical genre transmits.
