Grape harvest festival in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain
04 Sep 2021 – 19 Sep 2021
Festivity of International Tourist Interest
The Grape Harvest festival takes place in Jerez de la Frontera in September, and coincides with the start of the grape harvest, one of the main events in the city.
The celebrations pay tribute to the three emblematic elements in the culture of Jerez de la Frontera: wine, horses and flamenco. Grape stomping, gastronomy, street theatre, music and popular culture fill the city’s streets with fun and high spirits. The festivities include flamenco shows, horse parades, displays of horsemanship and visits to vineyards, as well as wine tasting, exhibitions and competitions. There is also a wine harvest market where visitors can sample typical Andalusian products.
