II Flamenco Universal Mérida
The capital of Extremadura hosts, for the second consecutive year and after the success of 2022, a new edition of the Universal Flamenco Festival 2023, from October 21 to November 12, at the Palacio de Congresos, the Maria Luisa Theater and the Temple of Diana , among other locations.
An event of international vocation that will combine art and culture, and that will feature the presence of established artists in the world of flamenco such as Antonio Canales, Esperanza Fernández, Antonio Reyes, Miguel Vargas, Juan Vargas, La Kaita, Juanfra Carrasco or Andrés Barrios, among others.
It is the annual flamenco meeting in the city of Mérida. An international meeting, to enjoy throughout the city. The best of the national flamenco panorama, the new promises, the native, repercussion actions throughout the city, informative cycles and participatory campaigns for all citizens.
In its second edition, Flamenco Universal mixes flamenco, culture and heritage in a unique experience that celebrates the passion of this art in the ancient city of Mérida.
Mérida is emeritus and it is Augustan, it is Roman, it is Germanic and Visigothic, it is Muslim and it is Extremaduran, a very noble, ancient, large and loyal two-thousand-year-old city.

La capital extremeña acoge, por segundo año consecutivo y tras el éxito de 2022, una nueva edición del Festival de Flamenco Universal 2023, del 21 de octubre al 12 de noviembre, en el Palacio de Congresos, el Teatro Maria Luisa y el Templo de Diana, entre otros emplazamientos.
Una cita de vocación internacional que aunará arte y cultura, y que contará con la presencia de artistas consagrados en el mundo del flamenco como Antonio Canales, Esperanza Fernández, Antonio Reyes, Miguel Vargas, Juan Vargas, La Kaita, Juanfra Carrasco o Andrés Barrios, entre otros.
Es el encuentro anual del flamenco en la ciudad de Mérida. Un encuentro internacional, para disfrutar en toda la ciudad. Lo mejor del panorama flamenco nacional, las nuevas promesas, los autóctonos, acciones de repercusión por toda la ciudad, ciclos informativos y campañas participativas para toda la ciudadanía.
En su segunda edición, Flamenco Universal mezcla flamenco, cultura y patrimonio en una experiencia única que celebra la pasión por este arte en la antigua ciudad de Mérida.
