John Williams’ Suite from Close Encounters of the Third Kind highlights the compositional skill of one of today’s leading film composers.

Spanish guitarist Pablo Sáinz-Villegas performs Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez, evoking the Royal Palace of Aranjuez. The program concludes with Respighi’s Pines of Rome, offering a vivid orchestral depiction of the Roman countryside.
