XXXIV Festival Flamenco La Yerbabuena

Las Cabezas de San Juan (Sevilla) pays tribute to the journalist and critic flamenco Miguel Acal Jiménez, awarding him the highest distinction of the Festival Flamenco which he helped to create.

Throughout his career, Miguel Acal was known for his commitment to the flamenco tradition. Programs such as ‘Con Sabor Andaluz’ and ‘Café de los Flamencos’, through which legendary figures of the cante, dance and playing, cemented his reputation as a respected and influential critic.

The presentation of the Silver Yerbabuena to his family will take place during the celebration of the XXXIV edition of the Festival Flamenco La Yerbabuena, which will take place on July 4, 2025.
