Legendary Flamenco & Classical Spanish dance teacher María Magdalena passed away February 15
Sadly, we announce the passing of legendary Flamenco dancer and Classical Spanish dance teacher María Magdalena on February 15. // Con tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de la legendaria bailaora y maestra de flamenco María Magdalena en 15 de febrero.
Doña Mª Magdalena Blanco Cordero specialized in Classical Spanish dance, influencing many dancers who have gone on to perform internationally. Her teaching style is rooted in the traditional, technical, and artistic foundations of Spanish dance, often associated with the rigorous training offered at the highly respected dance studio “Amor de Dios” in Madrid.
We send our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and the many students who were forever changed by her extraordinary talent. R.I.P.
