Arcángel

Arcángel (Huelva, 1977), has been a reference name in flamenco practically since he started as a professional singer around 15 years of age. In its echo and in its way of understanding flamenco singing, a deep knowledge and respect for the roots of lo jondo coexist naturally with an incessant interest in finding new paths of development for flamenco art: it is in that delicate and beautiful line (so many so often cited, so rarely heard or even intuited) that separates tradition and the avant-garde where the conception of the art of the Huelva singer resides.

THE RHYTHM IN THE COMPAS

Under this title that seems to focus clearly and unequivocally on the content to be discussed in the study, or explanation of one of the most fundamental aspects of Flamenco such as rhythm or compás, in reality this talk/conference/masterclass has as its background the attempt to highlight the incidence and importance of something so essential for human beings, language, in the formation of this musical genre.
