In its eleventh edition, framed between the 22nd and 28th of February 2025, we are going to highlight a first-class flamenco dancer, the Sevilliana Manuela Carrasco (The Goddess of Dance). “Time stops when Manuela dances.”

Manuela Carrasco, born in Seville in 1954, is one of the most emblematic and revered figures of flamenco. Daughter of the dancer José Carrasco ‘El Sordo’ and Cipriana Salazar Heredia, her gypsy and artistic lineage was forged from her earliest childhood. Her training was self-taught, without formal teachers, but with a strong influence from her family environment and great teachers such as Carmen Amaya and the trio Los Bolecos. At the age of ten, she made her debut at the tablao El Jaleo in Torremolinos, marking the beginning of an unstoppable career.

En su undécima edición, enmarcada entre los días 22 y 28 de febrero del 2025, vamos a destacar a una bailaora de primer nivel como es la sevillana Manuela Carrasco (La diosa del Baile). “El tiempo se para cuándo baila Manuela”.

Manuela Carrasco, nacida en Sevilla en 1954, es una de las figuras más emblemáticas y veneradas del flamenco. Hija del bailaor José Carrasco ‘El Sordo’ y de Cipriana Salazar Heredia, su linaje gitano y artístico se forjó desde su más tierna infancia. Su formación fue autodidacta, sin maestros formales, pero con una fuerte influencia de su entorno familiar y de grandes maestros como Carmen Amaya y el trío Los Bolecos. A los diez años, debutó en el tablao El Jaleo de Torremolinos, marcando el inicio de una carrera imparable.
