58º Flamenco Festival Gazpacho Andaluz 2025 * Homenaje al Potaje Gitano de Utrera
Saturday, July 5, 2025 * 10:00 pm
Salesianos School Patio, Calle Marquesa de Sales – Morón de la Frontera
Presented by Kiko Valle
A cast of top-level artists will perform on the stage of one of the world’s pioneering festivals, dedicated, on this occasion, to the oldest of all: the Potaje Gitano de Utrera.
During the intermission, traditional gazpacho will be served in a clay bowl, a gift from the organizers along with the ticket.
In 1963, the Gazpacho Andaluz flamenco festival in Morón de la Frontera began thanks to the revival undertaken by a group of Andalusian intellectuals—accompanied in Morón by a group of great aficionados—who captured the masterful art of those voices that had been neglected. A festival characterized by the magical guitar and the highly personal guitar playing of Diego del Gastor, it currently enjoys great prestige and notoriety, giving prominence to the most representative, rich, and fascinating art of Andalusia, recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site.
More than sixty years later, Gazpacho Andaluz still retains the essence of its first posters, setting a standard and attracting more than a thousand people to the biggest night of flamenco in Morón de la Frontera. Since recent editions, these festivals have gathered in the central Plaza del Ayuntamiento, where internationally renowned artists, as well as those appreciated by the most dedicated fans, perform.
The 58th edition of Gazpacho Andaluz will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, with a large artistic cast designed to reach diverse audiences and attract visitors, who will enjoy a unique and unforgettable flamenco event in the long-established flamenco city of El Gallo.
The event will begin with a pre-performance (9:00 PM) by flamenco guitar, singing, and dance students from the Municipal School of Music and Dance. Courtyard of the Salesianos School of Morón de la Frontera
