Ezequiel Benítez is one of today’s most compelling voices in flamenco. Born in Jerez de la Frontera—widely regarded as one of the cradles of traditional flamenco—he was raised in a deeply rooted musical family where cante was not simply performed, but lived.

Steeped in the pure, orthodox style of Jerez, Benítez developed an early reverence for the tradition’s depth and discipline. Over time, he has shaped a voice that is unmistakably his own: emotionally charged, spiritually resonant, and profoundly authentic.
