ABOUT FESTIVAL LA MOVIDA

MOVIDA is the name given to the cultural and artistic movement that shook up the whole of Spain in the 80s.

In Valencia, MOVIDA is the movement initiated by the Hispanic Cultural Center to promote the art of flamenco.

It is a week of freedom and celebration, a moment of sharing and emotion, popular and universal, but also a journey through the cultural heritage of an entire people, a discovery of the most creative expressions of this great art that is FLAMENCO, registered as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO since 2010!

MOVIDA offers an attractive and quality event for the region, generates meetings between amateurs and professionals, attracts dancers and musicians from all over France and Spain and helps promote new talent.

It is an event not to be missed to dive into the heart of this living and vibrant tradition, a reflection of a dynamic and constantly evolving culture.
