One of the Spanish dance tradition’s most prestigious figures, born into a prominent family in the world of flamenco, ‘Liminal Love’ celebrates Farruquito’s deep personal and familial connection to flamenco, as an inherited legacy carried across generations.
Farruquito (Juan Manuel Fernández Montoya), born in Seville, is a premier flamenco dancer hailed as one of the 21st century’s greatest. Heir to the renowned “Farruco” Gypsy dynasty, he debuted on Broadway at age four. Known for immense strength and technical prowess, he has choreographed numerous acclaimed shows, cementing his legacy in traditional, and pure flamenco.
Julien Soulier is an award-winning French photographer and director celebrated for his timeless, cinematic, and emotionally resonant storytelling. At the core of his work lies a deep fascination with ordinary people accomplishing extraordinary things. His photographs and films are raw, sensory, and profoundly human.
