In 2025, we are celebrating 87 years in the Spanish community of Los Angeles. Casa de España invites you to enjoy their event on Sunday, June 8, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Enjoy music, dancing, Sevillanas, traditional foods and products from Spain, including Spanish Wines and Beers. plus specialty Gaviña Coffee.
Casa de España, Inc., of Los Angeles, was founded in 1938 and incorporated in the state of California in 1939 as a non-profit organization. Our organization is governed by a volunteer board of directors, and its monthly activities are carried out with the support of its members.
Our social calendar (see our 2025 Calendar) begins in January with the celebration of Three Kings’ Day, with the traditional Roscón cake, churros, and hot chocolate.
ABOUT THE ROMERÍA:
The ‘romeria’ is a truly special and meaningful experience that is deeply rooted in Spanish tradition. This religious pilgrimage brings people together from all walks of life to pay homage to their beloved patron saint or Virgin Mary. It is a time of great reverence and devotion, where families and friends gather to share in the beautiful traditions that have been passed down for generations. The richness and history behind the romeria is simply inspiring, and it is a true testament to the enduring spirituality of the Spanish people. // La romería es una experiencia verdaderamente especial y significativa, profundamente arraigada en la tradición española. Esta peregrinación religiosa reúne a personas de todos los ámbitos para rendir homenaje a su querida patrona, la Virgen María. Es un momento de gran reverencia y devoción, donde familias y amigos se reúnen para compartir las hermosas tradiciones que se han transmitido de generación en generación.
