“Year of Camarón” commemoration * May 29-30, San Fernando, Cádiz
The city of San Fernando in the Cádiz region of southern Spain is gearing up for a historic event: an academic congress dedicated to the life, work, and universal legacy of Camarón de La Isla, which will take place on May 29 and 30, 2026.
This gathering forms part of the “Year of Camarón” commemoration, coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the birth of this flamenco genius.
