Granada has been and continues to be a school of flamenco in all its disciplines. It is a benchmark for the avant-garde, both nationally and internationally.

Millenoff was born from the need to provide the city of Granada with a top-level socio-cultural event that unites all the disciplines of flamenco: singing, dancing, guitar, fusion, sculpture, painting, photography, film, and literature.

From Sacromonte emerged a style that oozed character from every angle and that still endures today: the Zambra. Granada is undoubtedly one of the main references for flamenco in Spain, and Sacromonte is one of its birthplaces.

This gypsy neighborhood is the epicenter of what experts call “jondura” and “el duende,” and it is the origin of the zambra, a flamenco song and dance festival that dates back to the wedding rituals of the city’s Moriscos, back in the 16th century.

Granada ha sido y es escuela del flamenco en todas sus disciplinas. Es un referente de la vanguardia, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.

Milnoff nace de la necesidad de dotar a la ciudad de Granada de un evento socio-cultural de máximo nivel que aúne todas las disciplinas del flamenco: cante, baile, guitarra, fusión, escultura, pintura, fotografía, cine y literatura.

Del Sacromonte surgió un estilo que rezumaba carácter por los cuatro costados y que todavía perdura: la Zambra. Granada es sin duda una de las principales referencias del flamenco en España, y el Sacromonte una de sus cunas.

Este barrio gitano es epicentro de lo que los expertos llaman la “jondura” y “el duende”, y en él se origina la zambra, una fiesta de cante y baile flamenco que se remonta a los rituales nupciales de los moriscos de la ciudad, allá por el siglo XVI.
