This two-day conference explores Spain’s role in the birth of the United States through a series of talks and conversations featuring Spanish and international scholars.

It includes participants such as Manuel Lucena Giraldo, José Manuel Guerrero Acosta, and Rafael Torres Sánchez, alongside U.S.-based academics, with sessions covering topics from the American Revolution and Spanish California to infrastructure, music, and global exchanges.
