Suma Flamenca Madrid 2021

En el flamenco de la decimosexta edición del Festival Suma Flamenca que presentamos este año, ese Sur es Cádiz, Jerez de la Frontera, Los Puertos y el Campo de Gibraltar. Cuna, centro o punto de irradiación de tradiciones, escuelas, familias flamencas que han dado momentos gloriosos a este arte a lo largo de la historia. Así quiere expresarlo el lema de esta edición: Al Sur del Sur contiene los tres lenguajes del Flamenco: la guitarra de concierto, el cante y el baile, en una serie de 37 espectáculos, más 6 en la Red de Teatros de la Comunidad de Madrid, que se celebrarán entre el 19 de octubre y el 7 de noviembre.

Con este festival promovido por la Consejería de Cultura, Turismo y Deporte de la Comunidad de Madrid, con los Teatros del Canal como referencia, la región se convierte en el centro del flamenco en un momento de ebullición y esperanza, de convivencia entre nuevos y asentados valores, aquellos que están definiendo el presente, como Israel Fernández, Marco Flores, David Palomar, Macanita o Antonio Reyes, y artistas de antigua raigambre, en el apogeo de su sabiduría, como José Mercé, Serranito, Vicente Soto o Pansequito.

In the sixteenth edition of the Suma Flamenca Festival we present this year, that is South, Cádiz, Jerez de la Frontera, Los Puertos and Campo de Gibraltar.
