Paco de Lucía will be honored in New York in 2024, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of his death.

Artists like Ruben Blades, Carmen Linares, Diego ‘El Cigala‘ and Farruquito will pay tribute to the guitarist Paco de Lucia at the festival taking place in New York City at Carnegie Hall from February 20 to 24, 2024, the year that marks the tenth anniversary of the death of the musician from Algeciras.

Six spaces in the American city will host the festival Paco de Lucía Legacy with the participation in addition to the already mentioned artists of Al Di Meola, José Merce, Rafael Riqueni, Nino Josele or some of the musicians who shared the stage with Paco de Lucía, such as Jorge Pardo, Antonio Serrano the Brazilian Rubem Dantas, José María Bandera, Antonio Sanchez, Israel Suárez ‘Piraña’ either Carles Benavent, plus West African artists Salif Keita (vocals) and Mamadou Diabaté (Kora) among others.
