Always free in her artistic exploration, she now tackles the Calentamiento (the warm-up). With passion and determination, of course. An iconoclastic choreographer, Rocío Molina combines technical virtuosity, contemporary research, and conceptual risk in her pieces. Each of her performances is unique, singular, and sharp. Tireless in her reflection as well as her creation, she explores all the subjects that resonate with her, that take on meaning through her dance. By addressing the theme of training, of the warm-up, she goes even further, as if to remember where she comes from. As if to remind us that nothing is ever truly achieved. “Start again. Start again every day. With enthusiasm, with boredom, it doesn’t matter. But never stop starting.” From beginning to completion, from the rehearsal room to the performance hall. To the rhythm of the compás, the voices of four cantaoras, under the musical direction of her famous accomplice Niño de Elche, Rocío takes us on a journey, as always.

Siempre libre en su exploración artística, ahora aborda el Calentamiento. Con pasión y determinación, por supuesto. Coreógrafa iconoclasta, Rocío Molina combina virtuosismo técnico, investigación contemporánea y riesgo conceptual en sus piezas. Cada una de sus actuaciones es única, singular y aguda. Incansable tanto en su reflexión como en su creación, explora todos los temas que resuenan con ella, que cobran significado a través de su danza. Al abordar el tema del entrenamiento, del calentamiento, va aún más allá, como para recordar de dónde viene. Como para recordarnos que nada se logra realmente. “Empezar de nuevo. Empezar de nuevo cada día. Con ilusión, con aburrimiento, no importa. Pero nunca dejes de empezar”. Del principio al fin, del local de ensayo a la sala de espectáculos. Al ritmo del compás, las voces de cuatro cantaoras, bajo la dirección musical de su famoso y consumado Niño de Elche, Rocío nos lleva de viaje, como siempre.
