Rafael Riqueni has amazed audiences since the age of twelve with the sole power of his guitar. It has been 40 years since his first album, Play of Children, surprised by the audacity of his musical proposal, a conceptual and sound richness that went beyond the flamenco tradition, a style of composition that has made the spiritual heir of the great guitarist Niño Ricardo an out of series.

The tour of Rafael Riqueni in the framework of the presentation of his new album Nerja -which has been renewed since its creation in 2022- will begin with this concert at the Teatro de la Maestranza. The story of the young people who discovered the Málaga cave deep in 1959 is the storyline that Riqueni uses to unleash that style that only he exposes and cultivates, harmoniously related to Impressionism, endowed with an enveloping quality that continues to marvel audiences around the world.

This Sevillian in love with his land returns home surrounded by good friends, artists such as the singer Israel Fernández or the dancer María Moreno with whom he feels especially comfortable on stage and who contribute to widen that unmistakable musical universe. May it be for many years.
