El RCPD es un centro de prestigio en la enseñanza de la Danza que pertenece a la Consejería de Educación e Investigación de la Comunidad de Madrid. Hemos diseñado las Enseñanzas de Grado Elemental de Danza con dos itinerarios: Opción Clásica y Opción Común y las Enseñanzas de Grado Profesional con tres especialidades: Danza Clásica, Danza Española y Danza Contemporánea.

El Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza “Mariemma” se remonta al primer tercio del siglo XIX (1830). A lo largo de su trayectoria hemos conseguido ser vanguardia de las enseñanzas de Danza en España, gracias al legado de nuestros mejores maestros y a la continua regeneración de su espíritu. Desde septiembre de 2016 tenemos nuestra sede en uno de los edificios históricos de la Finca de Vista Alegre en Carabanchel.

Somos un centro vivo. La calidad de nuestro alumnado ha conquistado numerosos premios y reconocimientos en Concursos Nacionales e Internacionales. Más del noventa por ciento de nuestros ex-alumnos se integran en Compañías de Danza: Ballet Nacional de España, Compañía Nacional de Danza, London Royal Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Ballet de L’Opéra de Paris, Ballet Nacional de Cuba, English National Ballet, Ballet de Stuttgart, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Ballet de Montecarlo, Scottish Ballet, Ballet de L´Opéra de Bordeux, Theater Basel Ballet, Royal Swedish Ballet, Nederlands Dance Theatre, Ballett Frankfurt, Introdans, Ballet Nacional de Chile, Ballet Nacional de Sodre.

The RCPD is a prestigious dance teaching center belonging to the Ministry of Education and Research of the Community of Madrid. We have designed the Elementary Dance Program with two pathways: Classical Option and Common Option, and the Professional Dance Program with three specialties: Classical Dance, Spanish Dance, and Contemporary Dance.

The Royal Professional Dance Conservatory “Mariemma” dates back to the first third of the 19th century (1830). Throughout its history, we have managed to become a pioneer in dance teaching in Spain, thanks to the legacy of our best teachers and the continuous regeneration of their spirit. Since September 2016, we have been based in one of the historic buildings of the Vista Alegre Estate in Carabanchel.

We are a vibrant center. The quality of our students has won numerous awards and recognitions in national and international competitions.
